Editorial and Peer Review Process

EDITORIAL AND PEER REVIEW PROCESS

The CSU Journal of Social Science and Humanities (CSU JSSH) upholds a rigorous and ethical editorial workflow designed to maintain high-quality and credible publications. The process begins with a Preliminary Technical Review to screen manuscripts for format compliance, language clarity, and AI/Turnitin similarity checks. Submissions that pass this stage proceed to the Double-Blind Peer Review phase, where at least two expert reviewers evaluate the scientific rigor, originality, methodology, and ethical soundness of the work. Reviewer feedback is compiled and considered during the Final Editorial Evaluation, where the Editor-in-Chief and Managing Editor assess the manuscript's readiness for publication. Throughout the process, strict Turnitin plagiarism checks and AI tool usage disclosures are enforced to promote transparency, authenticity, and compliance with best publishing practices.
